Short, because there is little to confess.

What is stored

With an account: the user id your sign-in provider hands over, your email, display name, handle, picture, and whatever you put in your about and links. Plus, of course, the stories and project files you upload. Without an account: only the uploads themselves.

No passwords - sign-in happens at Google or GitHub, and what they log there is between you and them, under their policies.

What is not

No analytics, no trackers, no advertising, no selling or sharing of anything to anyone. One strictly functional cookie keeps you signed in; signed-out visitors get no cookie at all. Ordinary web-server logs (with IP addresses) exist for keeping the machine healthy and rotate away on their own.

Where

On one server in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany). Your data does not leave it in the course of normal service.

Your rights

Access and portability: the Download my data button on your account page, any time, instantly. Rectification: edit your profile. Erasure: the Delete my account button removes your account and everything it shared - genuinely, not cosmetically. You can also complain to your data-protection authority; for Spain that is the AEPD.

Legal basis & retention

Everything stored is stored to provide the service you asked for (contract), kept until you delete it, and deleted when you do. Questions: support@darkride.ai.
